Exhibition

In my photographs, I take you along into the fascinating magic of infrared. I capture my landscapes with converted cameras, using infrared light. I work with different filters, each providing its own unique color palette. Post-processing also plays a role, varying per filter, but the real magic happens on location. I often appear in the images myself, which presents huge challenges and makes some stunning shots almost impossible to create. But: it keeps me sharp every time.
At the exhibition Kunst Maakt Amsterdam, I will mainly be showing black-and-white photographs, printed on very special paper. For more information about my work, please also visit my website.: https://domein.sbs

Workshop

In this workshop I will show you how to create an infrared photograph, participants will also have the opportunity to take an infrared photo themselves in small groups using the cameras I provide. I will show results and explain my working process.

Extra: with some “regular” cameras, you can also capture an IR photo—using very long exposure times and only in black and white. For those who are interested: bring your own camera and tripod. It is important that you are able to operate your camera well (setting manual white balance and exposure).
